As a minority and women owned business I wanted to give back to the community. Being an immigrant myself, I came to the U.S. when I was 8 years old from Trinidad and Tobago. Knowing the struggles I had to endure to get where I needed to be, I wanted to help other immigrants do the same. That is how the idea of Girl Friday Consulting Services started. Filing immigration forms can be complex and confusing. It is also a costly and very time-consuming process. It can make anyone feel overwhelmed and simpleminded. They get nervous and feel unsure of what they need to do.
